Authentication

The Web3 Platform uses Windows Authentication in its REST interfaces to determine the identity of the user. The default installation of the Web3 Platform is configure to only use Windows Authentication. It is also possible to enable public (unauthenticated) access to the Web3 server in which case the Anonymous user account is used to determine the privileges to be granted.
