Deleting a hierarchy can be quickly and easily performed by deleting the Hierarchy Definition. This delete operation only removes the definition from the topic map, it does not remove all of the associations that compose the hierarchy, so those associations are still available (for example to be used in other hierarchies).
To delete a hierarchy, open the Hierarchies tab in the left-hand panel of the editor and click on the hierarchy you wish to delete. The hierarchy is then displayed in the middle panel of the editor. Use the delete button at the top of this middle panel (1) to delete the hierarchy definition. You will be prompted to confirm the deletion before it takes place.
