It is often desirable to hide particular association types from the TMCore EPiServer Module editor UI. Reasons for doing this may include:
| 1. | Performance issues, where a single topic may be associations with many thousands of topics (such a GUI display would take too long to download and render). |
| 2. | Security issues, where sensitive classification information should be only shown to editors in particular roles. |
| 3. | Confusion for editors, where it is unhelpful for some editors to see particular roles. |
In simple situations, it is simply desirable to hide particular association types from the classification editor. In situations where it is required to hide particular roles from particular users, the TMCore EPiServer Module also provides the ability to hide association types from specific security roles.
